Nowadays polypropylene is the third most used plastic in big industrialized countries. PP's chemical permanence is good, it's more hard-surfaced and it endures higher temperatures than PE. In industrial PP is mostly used in process pipes and containers. PP is also available as PPs which is self-extinguishing.
